Sony TRV 340 error ?
I have exactly the same problem, with Sony TRV340. The tape will load, I can seee it turning for a few seconds as the camera takes the tape in, after loading when I try to use the camcorder it "pings" quite a few times, and then I get the error code flashing on the LCD screen. It is accompanied by a flashing sign that looks like the eject sign on some DVD players - a solid triangle with a bar underneath.
Anybody out there who can help ?
