I have an indesit wd125 washer dryer and i have been told the bearings have gone although it still works, it is very noisy i would like to know how to change the bearings as i will be charged an extortionate amount of money to have it done by a so called professional.

The reason it costs so much money is it is a pig of a job but if you think its easy have a go and I guarantee you will end up with a box of bits or a flooded kitchen, a good engineer will probably tell you to scrap it as it was a bad machine in the first place.
