What size switch for my fan?

I think i need to replace the pull cord switch for my bathroom extractor fan as it has stopped working. What size of switch should be used? I have seen a 6 amp but i think this is for lights.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thank you

Look at data plate on fan motor. Divide the power in Watts by the Voltage and this will give you the current in amps. Select the next higher rated switch.
