The red warning light is flashing about once a second.The pressure gauge was reading low.Now repressured.There is a healthy spark but no flame.Any help appreciated
in combustion area on front top right of heat exchanger look like flying saucer :-) it has push on wiring connectors which you can pull off and link together to see if it'll work when bypassed. Not sure if they present on all but i know ive had a 24 jun with that problem before and it makes people think gas related when its not.
to change if it is faulty would just be a case of dropping boiler pressure to zero and undo and swap as its only one open end you shouldnt get water from it when pressure is on zero. relieve pressure from boiler drain off or rad

It tries for 1-2 sec then continues to flash until pushed in again.I am an electrician do not work on boilers normally.Where is the dry fire switch located?

how long does it spark for? does it try for say 5 seconds then stop and repeat the sequence a few times then flash the warning light or does it just try for about 1-2 seconds then flash the red warning light?
if you reset and it tries to spark for one time only of around a second then flashes the red light id be looking at the dry fire switch
