ERROR on stereo of renault megane scenic 2004?

I have just had my Renault megane scenic serviced and whilst I know how to enter the code, the car has come back with ERROR rather than the 0000 you would normally expect, anyone got any ideas?

HI there just remove the radio and diconnect the radio ,wait a few mins then reconnect ,switch on then wait for the zeros to come up if they dont then there is a internal fault.
