Had this Fault, Got Diagrams off web.
Did a bit of head scratching.
OK so Dishwasher fills, starts to pump water, stops then then keeps trying over and over again.
From looking at diagrams figured out that the nexus will not heat water or do several other things UNLESS main motor / pump is activating a sensor.
Turns out that the system is primitive. it starts to pump water then checks that the pump is running using a pressure sensor. If after a few seconds it dose not get an indication of pressure turns off pump then tries again.
Turns out that this model has a part listed as a level switch, BUT is actually TWO sensors, 1/2 detects the machine has water the other half detects the pump pressure.
OK the part is available for about £25 quid (Nov 2013)
Part number 41009660.
I UNPLUGGED the machine, turned the dishwasher on its side. item has two narrow tubes running to it and some wires.
I levered out the part from casing (Push fits in) undid the two pipes (each has a clip opened by squeezing with pliers) rotated it and moved the wires over ONE AT A TIME so as not to mix them up onto the new one.
Put the pipes on (and clips)
Push fitted it into case.
Stood machine up plugged back in.
Did test cycle. YES. WORKS FINE
I AM NOT SAYING THIS WILL FIX YOURS.
NO GUARENTEES.
I AM HANDY AND DECIDED THAT GIVING THE PART A TRY WAS WORTH RISKING THE COST OF THE PART.
Playing with the part afterwards realised that one of the sensors was very slow to work when I blew into it (hear switch Clicking), seems to stick slightly. this suggests a way of testing the part before spending money.?
