how do i open the door of this machine that indicate it is open but wont?

My circuit tripped out while it was running now it wont open even though the light says it can open.

did you finally get your machine open? My machine has eaten a load of washing. the door lock light stays on, the cycle is finished, and the door won't open. How did you resolve this? I can't say I am impressed with this machine and wouldn't recommend it, I am waiting until it is old enough so I have an excuse to replace it. It is the second machine I got, the first one had a smashed concrete ring around the door when it was delivered and I tried to get dealer to replace it with a different brand but he wouldn't.

Good luck with your machine. I have an Ariston washing machine and the quality is not what I expected from a so called Quality European appliance. I have found the customer service poeple rather pathetic to. I'm trying to let as many people as Ican know that I'm not happy.
