Fiher Paykel washer won't start?

I have a Fisher Paykel Eco Smart GWL10LS that has been a great machine for about 12 years, but now it will not run. When I try to run it, the water valve turns on an off and only gives a short spirt of water. Then it will stop and the following light code comes on X0000 0XX (X being light is one ,0 is light is off) In the paper work the code, from what I can tell, Say's that the motor sensor is not working? Is this something i can fix? I am very good with electronicics, and very mechanical inclined. if so what parts will I need , and where can i get them?

You are correct in the fault code which means continuous fault with the motor hall sensor (sometimes referred to as the RPS circuit board) Disconnect power & both inlet hoses. Lie machine down on the front. Underneath you will see the plastic bowl shaped rotor. Unscrew & remove it to reveal the copper wired stator. Remove the 4 X 3/8 bolts holding it to the bowl. Gently remove it & disconnect the 3 X motor wires & the plug harness on the RPS. Gently prise the RPS off the stator winding. Obtain a new one from your F&P dealer. Fit it to stator where the cut out notch is. Make sure it is fully pushed down in place. Stator will only go back into position in one place. Make sure 3 X motor wires are on correct terminals. R-B-Y left to right. That's it. Nothing to reset. Just run machine.
