Whirlpool Thin Twin Washer making noise during spin cycle?

Hello. I have a Whirlpool Thin Twin washer/dryer combo unit. They are approx. 5 years old, I believe. I purchased them used about a year ago. Everything works fine, but when the washer goes to "spin" cycle i get loud banging noises from the washer. I can stop the cycle, rebalance my load, and sometimes it helps to make the noise softer. Are there some bearings in the tub that may need replacing? Any help would be appreciated!

just fixed my washer there are 3 springs on tub like shock absorbers what happened to mine was one off the shocks where it screws into the bottom of base of washer stripped out and when spin cycle starts with a heavy load it would lift shock out of bottom of washer an bang like crazy! i am a auto tech like to figure out problems so i figured out a fix for this and it works great!get a long threaded rod about 36 inches cut into 3 pieces half inch rod i used,get12 nuts with lock washers take bucket out from machine replace each shock with rod use nuts and washers and locktite and your bang will be gone just make sure you level basket.
