Trouble Igniting?

I think the answer for "Oil burner smokes on startup" may be my, at least part of my answer. But My question is about the ignition. I had just recently changed my nozzle and ignitor tips. They are set according to the specifications in my owners manual. It seemed to be working well for a little while. Then it started tripping the reset switch. At first I thought the tank filter may have been clogged, but after replacing the filter and double checking the ingition tips, I realizee that the tips were not sparking. I then double checked the contacts and cleaned them, which helped for about one day. It seams to ignite well for a little while, right after I check everything out, only to trip itself out after a few cycle's? I will clean the filter, but it seams more like an ignition problem to me, am I wrong?

Thanks old guy, you were right!

sounds like the ing. transformer is bad, could be other things like part plug nozzle, oil flow,to much air, etc.
