How can I mend my digivox?

Digivox has firmware v4.0. When it scans it saves the channels but when you go to an encrypted channel it says 'INFO data is being updated...' with a percentage. This percentage now goes up to 200% and doesn't save at the end, just continually cycles. All channel names are visible but only view unencrypted channels. How do you fix it?

you go to your system information then type the code 1004 and check to see if your emu is on

Thanks Mick.
I had EMU turned on. I did what you suggested about the codes and it worked for 24hrs then stopped again.

try this first , i want to see if you have the EMU turned on , press menu, go to (systen information) press ok" to enter system info" , now type 1004 on your remote at your screen , , a new menu will open up. in there check to see if the EMU, is set to ON" , if not do it with your remote , , then exit back out and start your scann again , ill check back tomorrow , mick 00.01 am

Thanks Mick.
This may seem really daft but I've never had to do that before so how do I go about entering them? Will search other threads to see if I can pick up the codes.
Cheers
