Bernina 807 Oiling points?

My trusty old machine has started to make more noise than usual. It has not been oiled for a few years so have opened up the free arm and cleaned and oiled this, but I cannot work out how to take the top cover off. Can anyone help please.

Try opening the panel where the light is situated. There should be a knob at the top left hand side. Press it and the top should lift up. Then you put the oil where the red spots are.

Dear Drivewithken, Many thanks for your help, I managed to lever it off and now it is working perfectly again.

Hello Victoria,
The top should just pull off but it is very difficult, oil all moving parts that you can see and put some soft grease on the gears.
