Eric, if you have a DVR appliance with the TV tuner, there is no way to do that...since it only uses ONE tuner. Gone are the days when we could easily videotape one program and switch off the VCR mode to view another... However, since I got my own DVR machine I have been able to do this, since it allows me to switch over to analog while recording a program on DTV. But in mid-February I won't have that luxury anymore! (Recording on tape is also becoming passe'.) It is too bad that on DTV we cannot do things like this with two digital stations... I feel that many of us have reverted backwards in TV technology rather than forward. Unless, of course, you have more than one TV/DVR combo in your home... which I do not, being on a tight budget...
