treadmill fault?

i have a new fitness e series 18kph treadmill. it works for 8 seconds and then the belt stops and then an e1 error comes on the display panel.
please can you help?

my treadmill powers up then i put in the magnet and press start then it pops and my fuse needs change. the belt doesnt even get to run
