my cd plyer (sony LBT-XB80AV) click when you trun it up?

when i trun it up it clicks and miss part of the songs out all the time can anyone help me ?

Have you made sure none of the cables at the rear of the stereo are touching, as I have had this in the past on my XB80AV, I found that it was making a relay click, but only when turning it up, the music appeared to be jumping but it was actually just blanking the sound while the relay sorted itself.

I hope this helps, if you haven't already sorted it.

have you got your speakers next to the unit ?
moving them will reduce vibration which could be the problem
