hi mick sorry couldnt answer last night, had a power cut. i have a nokia dbox2, when i press menu i get a column with, tv mode, radio mode , scart mode, games, audioplayer, movieplayer, picture veiwer, extras menu, settings, service, reboot, shutdown

your useind a dbox 2" thats different , from ant one you flashed for your friend , it dont take a firmware file , it take a thing called a image" for it to reflash on auto, my adivce is , to just go to YOUTUBE" and type in dbox2, and take a look at how its done there , you can all so go to the web site "digital kaos" and look it up there , you can ask them for help on it there , their very good with dbox / dreambox. ect" over there , they should be able to help you a lot better than i can , they know their stuff there , mick
