I have the same problem with my Jaguar 23kW combi boiler. Heating fine but hot water strugging to reach the set temperature. Water is tepid, to luke warm to warm and then back again. Is this a problem with the thermistor or can it really be because it is so damn cold?

Any ideas? If it is going to require a plumber how much for parts and how long would the job take?

Look forward to your replies!

make model?????????? combi's work on set temp rise at a certain flow rate ie 35 degree rise at 9.5 ltrs/min.
since its a bit nippy out, incoming mains 4 degrees would give you a hw temp of 39 degrees at 9.5 ltrs/min. not very hot....

you could have a problem but since no specs were given cant really say but your complaint is a common one in the cold times.
