Garden Flood Lamp 300W?

I am trying to install a garden floodlamp 300w.
Every time I put the fuse back in 30amp it blows.
Would a 150w bulb sorth this problem out?

Going by what you say,it looks like you should get someone more competent to do the job.

your wiring is wrong some where 300w t.h.only use 2-3 amps sounds likes a dead short
