My Ugg boots have a tear in them, on the top. How can i repair them?

My Ugg boots have a small tear in the top of them and the inside stuffing is showing through. I would like to repair them or have them repaired as they are otherwise in good condition.

I bought my daughter a pair of UGGs for Christmas and within a week she also had a tear near her big toe. I took them to a repair shop and they are going to cap the toe part of the boots with matching suede. Both boots will be capped so it matches.
