What's the best way to repair a small tear in my down jacket?
I have a small (1/4-1/2" hole) tear in a down jacket. It's big enough to leak feathers, so can't be worn as is.
Do I stitch it? Patch it? What kind of thread do I use?
It's a new North Face jacket. Not sure of the name. Down is stuffed in horizontal sections...no fancy stitching.
