oil fueled boiler?

my father in law had oil fired central heating installed 15 months ago since then there is a strong smell of oil in his hall and room where the boiler is standing in a large cupbord the boiler is worcester greenstar heat slave 18/25, i have just had the boiler serviced but still smells

If you can smell oil then it is a potential fire hazard. Boilers are a sealed system. Most systems now have to be fitted with sniffers to detect even the slightest leak. These shut off supply.

i would have the serviceman back,check 0r replace oil line etc.did the old one leak? fuel oil lingers a long time.
