how do i turn off my parental control? i have a black rectangle the size 13x5 on my screen and all i can think it could be is a parental control but i lost my instruction book and i can't figure out how to remove it.
Your problem is not parental control. Turn off the closed caption option in the menu. What you are seeing is the Text 1 or Text 2 block in closed caption function.
