error when programming samsung er 290?

Hi, i have programmed per the manual the samsung er-290. However when i am in reg mode and put in an amount and press the "dep" key, an error comes up. What am i doing wrong? please help

Hi.
Make sure you do not use a decimal point when entering your prices. If still not working, make sure problem happens with all department buttons and make sure you are in REG or (R) mode.
