Push Button Cistern Lid?

Just a quick one . . I only want to remove the lid . . .

Cheers.

For push-button cistern lids, usually there is a ring around the two buttons which needs to be gripped and unscrewed, in order for the lid to be removed.

Now let me guess! Is it built in? is it one that's screwed down. if it's one that just sit on top of the cistern then take a hand each side pull it up slow look under it and you will see a tapered plastic arm through a rectangular atop the syphon slide the lid sideways to the tapered arm comes out of the rectangular catch atop the syphon and hey presto! the lid is off. More details would help as their are many types.
