How much should i be looking at to get a new fuel pump fitted just a rough idea so i am not ripped off with being female and i am worried it is going to cost as much as the car is worth thanks

i have the same problem which fuse is it? and what relay?

Hi Jill, the pump unit is expensive as it is also the fuel gauge transmitter for the unit expect to pay around £100+vat plus 1 hr labour that will depend on if you go to a Ford dealer £70+vat an independant garage will be less. Have you checked the fuse under the bonnet and the relay? or the crash switch in the passenger footwell sidetrim?
