What is the cost of flushing (Power)?

My house is 5 years old, I never had this type of central heating growing up, we relied on a hot fan system. British Gas man tells me the system has black water causing hydrogen build up due tot corrosion. Says this is the reason for my air in system and why it needs constant bleeding. He said the builder may not have included an inhibitor.

Thanks to all for the support, I think I will just get a normal flush and inhibitor fill from local plumber.

Power flushing is in my opinon usually a rip off.Almost any good plumber should be able to put a cleanser into the system and then an inhibitor after the cleanser has done it`s job. This will probably still cost a couple of hundred pounds due to the time it takes, but a lot cheaper than a power flush.
Try and find a good plumber or corgi engineer, phone Corgi and they will give you contact numbers in your area.
Btw the British gas dude is correct in his diagnosis.

Search on here for "power flushing" and see what people have to say about it.

BG man just on commission trying to upsell their very expensive and usually unnecessary services.
