I have a Y plate escort diesel van with a heater problem. When the vehicle is at normal running temp and the heater control is set to hot, i turn the blower switch to either 1,2 or 3 and only get approx' 30 sec of heat before it starts to blow cold.
The coolant level is correct and there is a new cap on the header tank.
