my w910i is unlocked but Every time i put in a simcard it says inactive sim and the sim is active any ideas on how 2 repair

I have exactly the same problem with my W910i...read all the forums does not seem to be a fixable problem. May need to purchase new phone!!!

helo i have the problem on inactive sim aswell all i did was give it to a phone shop n they fixed it and it was only £5 but idk if its guna happen agen

This is not a problem with the Sim. This is a fault with sony ericsson phones.. I have a w810i and this happenens at least once a day... the phone will sitting on my desk then all of a sudden say inactive sim then crash... I have spoken to vodafone and they just ready from text books try and fob me off with its the sim card.. I have had my phone for 2 yrs from new on a contract and can't do a thing about it!! They say send it back.. sent it back.. comes back the same.. problem is intermitant!! i am going crazy trying to find a fix to this!! good luck. :-)

my w910i always switches off and then on every min i cnt beleive it i love this fone but im gna end up smashing it up ... wht cud i do to stop the situation ?
