It's a Hoover fridge freezer just over 5 yrs old. The fridge is supposed to be frost free. The fridge back wall is covered in ice and all the contents are frozen solid. I turned it off, defrosted it and cleaned it all out, cleaned the seals etc. Having turned it back on it's still doing it. The thermostat is at the lowest (warmest) setting. Help!

Mine was doing the same thing. I've forked out 80+ for parts & labour through a local guy. He's fitted the thermostat and it's still the same. He says he needs to come back to fit the probe, but he keeps letting me down. I'm fed up with throwing ruined food out. Can anyone tell me how to fit the probe, please?

Sounds like the control thermostat has failed allowing the compressor to run too long. Get someone in to check the thermostat & replace it if it is faulty.
