I have a DATASTOR DT-DET4G7115340 pen drive. For reasons unknown i am not able to open the pen drive by double clicking on the removable disk icon in My Pc. However i try it always opens a "open with" window listing all the usual programs etc, therefore not letting me open it in the usual manner. The only way i can access it is to do a file search on the pen drive, which is a little inconveniant. This happens on any PC i plug it in to. Any suggestions?

You probably had a virus on it at sometime and this is the result of the virus purging process. My advice to you is to save your data to a hdd or other media, then reformat your pendrive and restore your data and it should be accessible in the usual way. Good luck!
