i have a bristan vegas monobloc tap that leaks from under the on/off lever,i have a replacement cartridge for it but dont know how to take the tap apart to replace it....any ideas?

Thanks for that, thought I was stumped at the first hurdle!
Also make sure that the 3-circled washer is removed with the old cartridge as mine stuuck inside the tap and then the new cartridge didn't seal until I realised.

If you remove the hot/cold indice at the front of the bristan tap. This should be done carefully so not to damage the chrome. There is a grub screw under the cap.

At the back of the handle there is a 2.5mm allen key grub screw - undo that and lift off the handle from the cartridge spindle.

You will see the cartridge inside the tap barrel secured by the hexagonal retaining nut. Now lever off the dome shaped chrome surround that clips to the body of the tap by using a small screwdriver or similar to gain access to the hexagonal nut.
