how can i fix a Potterton Suprima 50 Boiler?

My boiler has just had a new PCB and Temp stat fitted but it keeps firing up running for about 1 min then cutting out then firing up and so on.
Brittish Gas said I should power flush at £710.00 because the system may be blocked I can flush it my self for about £100.
potterton advise it sounds like a sensor problem and for £299 they can put me on a service program and repair the boiler..can any one help please.

Circulation is the problem. Lack of good circulation or no circulation at all causes the boiler to overheat and as a safety feature, the overheat stat shuts down the boiler till it is cool and safe enough for the boiler to resume work. Powerflushing can solve the problem but not necessarily at £700 quoted. Even ordinary chemical flush could help you. Pls check your pump & diverter or zone valves to confirm that you have good circulation and your problem will be over.
