When i load a cd into the player a sign appears which reads 'no disc'

I have cleaned the lens but to no avail

hi anthony, when you cleaned the lense did you use a disc lense cleaner if so you may need acotton bud & cleaning fluid to clean the lense but if you have already tried this it's a new laser
