convoy brake drums?

do i have to remove the driveshafts from the axle, and the hubs , in order to remove the rear brake drums ? Or do they just slide off the studs over the hub ? Can the shoes then be removed .any help ?

dont need to remove 1/2 shafts, remove conical washers from studs [twin wheels], drum screws, then you will probably have to use a large drift on outer edge of drum [next to backplate] to remove it- they are quite tight. dont forget to de-adjust shoes.you can then remove shoes
