How do I remove a General Electric Dual Wave microwave?

Microwave was installed in the late 1980s. It appears to be attached to a GE oven directly below it. I've removed some baffles and the door, but see no screws fastening the unit(s) to the cabinets

hi,
just wanted to add that if you're only going to change the fuse, leave the unit in the cabinet and just remove the 3 screws holding the keypad. The scews are just inside the microwave door, on the right side. (left side of the keypad).

Jeez, wish I would have found THAT out before I spent an hour getting the microwave out of the cabinet.

hi howard,
Having a prob w/ my circa 1987 Dual Wave as well tonight.
1. Remove chrome bezel by about 5 allen screws on top, and 4-5 hex-head bolts on the bottom.
2. Remove the filter grate above the microwave by removing the 3 screws locate inside the microwave, just inside the door on the ceiling of the mic interior.
3. Back @ the bottom, where you removed those bezel retaining bolts, there shpuld be about 4 more bolts that hold the microwave to the metal shell that sits inside your mic/oven cabinet.
4. You should be able to slide the microwave straight out about 5-8 inches before the wire harness and oven temp probe wires don't allow any more movement.
Unplug the wiring harness @ the connector. The temp probes hard-wire can be pushed about 8" form the interior of the oven.
