I have a linea 24 combi boiler, its ok on central heating but when we require hot water run off from taps it cuts off then re ignites. Ive changed the ignition box and its not that,any thoughts.

Had this problem a few years ago and spoke to vokera technical, it sounds like the domestic heat exchanger needs replacing ring them and they will advise on how to test

The problem could be poor heat transfer through the hot water heat exchanger, the primary circuit may be getting too hot and this is why the burner is cutting out, run the hot tap and as soon as the burner goes out shut off the tap, have a look at the temp display, if it is reading around 90 degrees i would say the problem is with the hot dhw heat exchanger, hope this helps.

Check that the spindle on the hot water temperature control knob is not broken. To do this, remove the cover for the pcb's, (after turning off the power at the spur, and removing the fuse of course!), if you lower the front control panel down to the horizontal, at eye-level, you will be able to see the spindles for all three control knobs poking through the lower of the two pcb's. Turn the hot water control while watching to see if the spindle turns or not, if not you will have to replace it.
