Ferolli Optimax HE31C - Error code d1?

Hmmmm

Newly installed boiler working fine for heating but when hot tap is run, after tap is closed boiler goes to d1 and seems to 'reset'. Takes a couple minutes and then all is fine again.

Strange - anyone have an idea ?? The mains water pressure is quite high (2+ bar), could this be the cause.

Thanks Guys - further research tells me that the time period can be adjusted from the standard 2 minutes down to 30 secs but I don't know how.

Any ideas ??

d1 is the delay from hot water back to heating. normally takes approx 2 minutes to fire up.its part of the settings on the boiler to stop the stats overheating.

Hi Steve, this code is quite normal, the "d1" code is not a fault code, it is letting you know it is in "delay" mode for three or four minutes before re-igniting the heating. Most, if not all boilers have this "anti-cycling" feature. You may also see a "d2" code, for the same reason.
