Check for water scale buildup on the glass where it seals against the rubber, scrub it with an abrasive pad to remove any crud. If that doesnt help you have to replace the seal-Undo the fixing (spring, twisted wire or plastic locking band) which attaches the seal to the outside shell and detach doorseal from outer machine shell. Power off, drag machine out onto the floor, remove top cover. Push drum towards the rear of machine and look down to where the doorseal attaches to the drum - you should seen another clamping band. Unscrew or otherwise remove this inner drum clamping band break it if necessary. If the clamp cannot be reused, go to an electrical store such as Maplin or similar and buy the longest plastic cable ties available. Two or more cable ties can be connected together to form one long clip which can go round the inner part of the doorseal to hold it in place on the drum lip. Pull the doorseal away. Fitting the new seal is a bit like fitting a bicycle tyre on a new rim but on a bigger scale. Start at the bottom and work your way evenly up both sides, using levers if necessary. Lever the seal over the top rim. Ensure it is located correctly and refit both outer and inner clamping devices. If seal should be obstructed by concrete weights the front panel and the concrete weight will have to be removed before seal can be detached.
