the water starts to come into the machine then it stops, and when it starts the cycle my digital readings on top are flashing different programmes. I did accidently put the salt into the filter (oh dear) do you think that might have something to do with it????

Hi, no I do not think so, the salt will go and you will just get a salty wash.Does it revert back to a rinse cycle.If so,it is just cancelling the programme itself.I would think the air break could be blocked but that is an engineer visit i'm afraid.All the best.
