Why is my feroli domicompact boiler not working?

I have a domicomapct condensiing boiler which is just over one year old. The hot water supply is working but when I switch the boiler on either timed or manual it will not switch the central heating on. This has happened occasionally before and strangely has kick started the central heating when I have run the hot water tap. Now though this will not work. I've turned the thermostat up to the highest level but still there is no central heating output. I don't want to call out an engineer if this is something simple that I've done wrong!! Any ideas please??

you may have low water pressure, use the tap (on mine its coloured black) to add water to the system. It worked for me and I'm not a heating engineer. The reading should be between 1 and 1.5 on the little dial.

check the pressure, if its at least 1bar then the next thing i would suspect is the diverter valve and this is something you will need an engineer for im afraid... but more importantly check the papers you got with the boiler if its just over a year theres a possability its still under warranty because most new boilers come with 2 years now even if the second year is just parts cover only at least its something saved...
