how can I change an ordinary chick to use sds drill ?

I have a combi drill, which I believe that it can only use HSS drill bits. I want to use the SDS drill bit on masonry.

Can someone advise me how to change the chuck so I can use SDS drill bit.

Thanks

there are adaptors out there but i beleive them to retail for about 20 quid, if i was you i would just buy some non sds masonary bits for a lot less money.
also sds drills use a different hammering system to hammer drills so the bits are less affective in normal hammer drills. contact me if you need to know more rugjnkn@aol.com

Short answer is you cant. SDS works in a completely diffrent way to a rotery drill. you can get an adaptor to change an SDS to Normal But not Normal to SDS :-))
