Why has my Bristan Java Thermostatic mixer gone cold?

My Bristan Java thermostatic mixer valve/shower has suddenly gone luke warm at best (fine one day, luke warm the next). Anyone know what the fault might be ?

Hello everybody peeps,

Currently got an Thermostatic Art-Deco Mixer valve which has suffered from this problem twice. Please note that the shower come with a 5 year warranty, so get checking that paper work.

Basically the cartridge needs replacing, hopefully under warranty :-)

Same problem with a Bristan 1901 mixer. Bought a new seal kit for it which stopped it from dripping, but did not warm it up.

I too have a problem with my Bristan Artisan shower/mixer valve, which worked well for 18 months when first installed but now only gives luke warm water, at best.

I am having the same problem I have the Java thermostatic mixer valve. I have replaced the cartridge inside due to build up of limescale. Yet this still seems to have not fixed the problem??
