Metalic taste in new kettle?

New kettle boiled three times before use but still after a months use water has metalic taste, any cures?

I bought a kettle Asdas own and couldnt get rid of metallic taste so took it back and got my money refunded. I went to Comet and bought a KENWOOD. Twice the price but no metallic taste. Great.

Not sure. I have done the boil and chuck several times. Then the 2tbsp bicarb, then boil and chuck, then vinigar, then boil and chuck, then 2tbsp bicarb again then boil and chuck. It is slightly better but still majorly crap. I have tried filtered and nonfiltered water. Tastes the same. I am going to take it back tomorrow and see if i can swap it for another kettle.

Hi Bob.
Boil the kettle with some Bicarb, approx 2 Tbsp, Then rinse out, should be ok then. Worked with mine.
