how can i diconect my ac on a 96 astro?

i am looking to either disconect my ac or at least take out the fuses for it cause it comes on all the time even when i put on the heat

if air con,is not used often, ac compressor seizes.if thats not a prob,just cut off ac drive belt,if it a seperate belt,will save you gas too
