first you have to GET to the belts, before you can"fix" them . ok so look between the engine and the main snowthrower part , you will see a cover that needs to come off , it's usually held on by 2 or 3 screws . now you have the cover off look for 2 bolts that hold the main snowthrower part TO the engine , remove them and the snowthrower should come apart in the middle , after that it's easy
