I have a Thompson DT16300-16, almost a year old, and it has suddenly stopped playing my recorded programs. As soon as I switch to the recorded list the box freezes up and will not work at all until I switch it off and on again

i have a similar problem some recordings are corrupt and i cannot delete them -the box just freezes
i bought it from comet who dont sell them now
any ideas
