Has anyone else had a "disintegrating" tv case on a sony kv32s16 tv?

We had to move our Sony trinitron tv and the case around it disintegrated into a million pieces. The tv components are fine; can we get another case? The tv is 10 years old. Model Kv32s16; trinitron

Just a heads up..it'll cost you an arm and leg. TV cabinets are generally supplied front and back seperately, also be aware they tend not to be supplied with control door covers, badges etc. So extra again. Then you'll need an engineer to change the chassis and tube over. The front cabinet alone will likely cost £100'ish, fitting add another £100 + misc parts.

Claim on your house contents and just suffer the excess.
