40 inch LCD tv?

Samsung tv won't turn on. Just clicks. It stared this around a week ago. At first after a while it would start up, but now it has just been clicking away for hours!
Only had the thing for a year and a half.

Add my name to list of samsung customers that are stuck with one heck of a lemon of a televsion. I spent $1300 on 40 inch Samsung LCD and now 18 months later I am experiencing the same issue: it took 20 minutes (I literally timed the thing) for my TV to turn on this morning. Repairman states it will cost $300-$400 to repair and guess what, the replacement parts are gonna go bad as quickly as the original parts did.
You would think with the prices we are having to pay for televisions these days, they would last for a longer period of time without failing.
I also will not purchase another Samsung product again. I hope the company goes out of business. I just wish someone would have let me know when I purchased this thing that yeah, it looks sleek and it has a great looking picture, but guess what it's gonna break down before you barely have it paid off.
SAMSUNG STINKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 40" LCD is doing the same thing. There seems to be hundreds of people on internet that are having same probs with samsung TV's. Repair man has just quoted me £225 today to fix it.......im gutted & will never buy samsung again as its only 2 years old & i payed a small fortune for it originally.
