which RAM do i need?

Currently have P4 1.8Ghz pc with 512mb ram ( 2*256Mb Pc133 SDRAM), running abit slow now with some applications so could do with upgrade to ram.

Do i need to buy PC133 sdram sticks or are there any compatiable ram sticks maybe DDR which i could use?

When buying what do i need to look for?

Thanks

From the info you have given. You need SD RAM PC133mhz. DDR ram is not compatable with your system.

You also need to check how many free slots for RAM you have and also what the maximum your PC can take. IE. 256 x 4 = 1GB

Hi, if you go to www.cruical.com it will run a scan on your computer and tell you the memory upgrades suitable for your computer and they are quite cheap for the memory sticks
