smeg DW1710e dishwasher?

Smeg DW1710E dishwasher is going through the cycles but with no heat in either wash , rinse or dry cycles. Also when switched on , 3 cycle lights come on instead of one - what is problem

Probable reason for no heat is the element - easy to check if you have a meter handy and easy enough to replace. other reasons for the E3 error code heat sensor in door. In my case it was the heater element.

If you go to http://www.smegtech.com you can download the user manual which might help, hopefully.

Lights 1, 2 & 5 lit mean "E3 problem" and the manual just states to contact the after-sales service. This happened to us once and after we ordered new element, (which we thought was causing problem) still did not work. Called after-sales and he seemed to press a reset button and this fixed problem. However, unable to remember where this reset button is - hope this helps some. If we find out where it is, will let you know!
